Oh how I love me some good old fashioned Bethesda bs. The previous patch they put into beta, was in beta for maybe a couple of hours and then forced as release, before most people even got a chance to download it, let alone test it. That it caused a multitude of issues for users that had previously no crashes (just read the Steam discussion thread on this) has been blissfully ignored, with no way to roll it back. Looking forward to all the tasty meltdowns this is going to cause going forward.

Yeah I think I will wait a year or so before I get into this buggy game.
Totally agree.

I'm glad they're announcing that they are working on a new patch but I never understood the concept of beta game patches.
I suppose it's when you don't feel like investing money in an in-house beta team and prefer to unleash untested fixes on a large population sample.

Dunno what you read about, but it is very palyable....
It is if you disable nvidia gamedontworks. Sounds like a trend...

It's very playable for some and completely unplayable for others. Doesn't anyone read Bethesda support forums or Steam threads? This Fallout is no different to FO3 and NV in that regard.

godrays (gameworks) has nothing to do with the game being 'buggy' or not. it only affect performance and there are 3 more quality options between Off and Ultra. sounds more like bitching haters are the trend.

It seems like these days, buying games for full price when they're new (or worse, when they're not even released yet) is just a terrible idea. Wait a year or two and the game will be as playable as it was supposed to be on release day while costing less. Seems counter-intuitive to pay less for a better product...

Got mine for 30 quid, it hasn't had a single bug that isn't basically built into the engine, so I'm laughing ..... except that I don't really like the game that much ... which is a bit of a bummer XD

Sounds a lot like Windows 10. The game runs fine to an extent. Don't expect GTA V optimizations here. There are some annoying bugs/things that happen and shouldn't but It's still enjoyable.

Game still looks like 2005 graphicall wise, but besides that they still need to fix them dam controls, hard locked keys is a big epic fail for me, not even possible to loot bodies then anything else then the E [use] key, and numlock keys dont work either, thats unacceptable for todays standards period.

I had the same with FNV, i got b ored rather quickly. So ill wait for a Steam Sale. Apart from that i can't max it out with my 680 and have 60 FPS 🙂

No bugs here. IMO this is Bethesda's best by a long mile (better than any ES game). Graphics are absolutely phenomenal, and it's the least "buggy" Bethesda release ever (haven't really seen one major bug). Better than 3 and NV in every single conceivable way.

Gotta agree, fallout 3 and NV at release were an absolute **** show at release. Fallout 3 at release crashed 3/5 times everytime you went from an exterior cell to an interior cell or vice versa. Fallout NV had lots of AI issues, punching someone would knock people off crucifixis' and general AI doing stupid ****. Oh and lets not forget Skyrim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7trmEmI5Js

I love fallout games but I wont get this one until maybe 3rd or 4th patch. By then this game will be worth 60 bucks.
If you "love Fallout games", then you are making a big mistake.

Agreed...! It's barely possible I might pre-order a game if it's developed by a company I'm familiar with and I can get a 50% discount...;) Otherwise, no. I waited almost three months to pickup Skyrim in 2011 when I got it in a Steam Christmas sale for like $22.46, or something like that, IIRC. Much smarter to wait as opposed to jump...! OTOH, $60 is simply too high, $70 is an abomination. But I'd buy a new game for $39.99 all day long provided I know and like the developer. But I don't think I have to worry about that--developers and publishers seem fixated on $60-$70 which is remarkable when you think of the fact that they sell millions of copies these days--with the right price they just might double their profits by selling many more copies. But, they can't seem to shake the idea of the $60 MSRP. So I can't/won't buy games as soon as they ship...

lets take bets how long it is before unoffical patches start up cause Bethesda gave up patching there own game like skyrim? my bet is on 1 year :wanker: I didnt even buy skyrim till year after legendary edition was released I have no preorder game since MAX PAYNE, and i probably never will. considering how most game a released broke and maybe fixed later

It's not buggy. Been playing for over 75hours now, not one game breaking bug, very few bugs in general and none are even that important. It's the most stable Bethesda game to date People don't like it that's fine but I'm really sick of hearing the constant whinging from people claiming it's buggy, ugly and so on. It's not ugly, it's not buggy and it's an epic game with so much content it boggles the mind, I think all you whingers just need to go play Battlefront. That game is shallow and more suited to your minds.
