was curious about the specs and found this : GEHΓ„USE: ASUS ROG Strix Helios | Glasfenster ( Kabelmanagement, Staubfilter, Glasfenster, RGB) CPU (PROZESSOR): AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (16x 3.4 GHz, 105W) MAINBOARD: ASUS Hero WiFi, AMD X570 (2x M.2 PCIe 4.0) GRAFIKKARTE: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X (ASUS TUF OC) ARBEITSSPEICHER: 64GB DDR4-3200 Corsair Vengeance Pro (4x 16GB, RGB) SSD (M.2 / PCIE): 2TB Corsair MP600 (M.2 PCIe 4.0, 4950MB/s lesen, 4250MB/s schreiben) NETZTEIL: 1000W be quiet! Straight Power 11 Platinum (80 Plus Platinum, Kabelmanagement) SOUNDKARTE: HD-Audio Onboard CPU-KÜHLER: ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB (ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB) 1000w psu at least they aren't stupid because I know for a fact that combo can go to 850w when abused, still they cheaped on it I recommend a 1200w psu at this stage the motherboard seems nice and isn't cheap it's sold 6153USD or 5236€ in my country

I would want better than 3200mhz RAM in this setup. Given that the rest of it is high end kit, 3200mhz doesn't sit well.

Seems to be a different, even more expensive model. The article's model doesn't even have a PCIe 4.0 SSD but an old PCIe 3.0 one of half the size, plus a spinning disk in addition to it. Yeah, imagine paying 4500 euros (or more, depending on the country's taxes) and finding last gen hardware inside. But then again, whoever buys a pre-built system like that doesn't probably know enough of computers to notice anything.

Weird to think that just 4y ago I payed 3500e for Mitsubishi lancer 2008( so it was 9y old car) This world is going crazy.

Yup, 2TB spinning disk in a system at tis price point is unacceptable.

What an ugly case.

;) πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ this is just a "halo" and not a very shiny one at that. MSI is very strong, but Alienware rules this segment . just a cursory look shows several custom builders offering better rigs at less money (and better part selection). in the old days this would be in brick and mortar with fancy displays and lighting, settings that would be where folks actually shopped and purchased things:p in the online world, if you have enough interest level but lack the desire to build the search engines of choice at this price point would show custom builders with a variety of cases. that's money better spent

64GB of ram for gaming pc? Vertical GPU? Atleast it seems it has enough of breathing. But 5000€ for this? Wtf...

64GB of ram for gaming pc?
It's hardly unreasonable. 16GB is definitely too little today, which puts 32GB at acceptable - and too little for a system with a 5950X and a 3090. This is a system I'd expect to last a decade as-is so 64GB seems right on the money, though it should be 2*32 rather than 4*16 at this price point. On another note; a 2*32GB kit of 3200MHz ECC memory were the only guaranteed source of dual rank Micron E-die I could find, as well as the cheapest. πŸ™‚

4x16 > 2x32
I disagree, for two reasons. It's not ideal to buy a fully populated system, as that makes upgrading memory further inconvenient. Ideally you want 2 dual-rank or 4 single-rank DIMMs with Ryzen. Most modern 16GB sticks I've looked at are actually single rank. Upgrading to 4*16 is fine but if you're shipping a high-end prebuilt with 64GB that should probably be 2*32 for the aforementioned reasons. YMMV.

Indeed, great spec's let down by such an ugly case.

"and the display is considered an optional feature." Well given that the modern gamer stares through the side of the case at the RGB...
