Galaxy and thus in Europe, KFA2 are prepping a 4 GB overclocked version of GeForce GTX 670 and they are calling it GTX 670 4 GB GC Edition.
The product will have a big dual fan cooler, custom PCB and a new power delivery design with five phases for GPU and two for memory.
The cooler has two 92mm fans, four copper heatpipes and a large aluminium fins array. Core clock and boost clock is also given a considerable boost. Cores run at 1006 MHz as compared to 915 MHz on reference models while boost clock is upped to 1084 MHz from reference 980 MHz. Memory clock remains reference.
The acrd will make use of a 8-pin and one 6-pin PCI Express power connector. For display connectivity, it comes with dual DVI ports, HDMI port and DisplayPort. Take a peek at the photo's:
It's not the first time we hear something like this. But A TAIWAN teenager has collapsed and died at an internet cafe after playing Diablo 3, a popular online video game, for 40 consecutive hours, local media say.
The 18-year-old identified by only his surname, Chuang, booked a private room at the cafe in Tainan, southern Taiwan, around noon on July 13 and played for nearly two days without eating, the United Daily News broadsheet reported on Tuesday. On the morning of July 15, an attendant entered the room and found Chuang resting on a table. After the attendant woke him, he stood, took a few steps and then collapsed, the report said. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital.
NVIDIA will ship an Icera 4G LTE chip for an upcoming ASUS Windows RT based tablet. NVIDIA acquired Icera last year, the company's first Tegra chip with integrated LTE is expected in 2013.
Asustek Computer Inc. (ASUUY, 2357.TW) plans to release a version of its Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) Windows RT tablet that uses an Nvidia 4G Long Term Evolution chip, said Mark Aevermann, an Nvidia product manager overseeing the chip maker's notebook graphics chip business and its Windows RT push.
The tablet will use a standalone chip for cellular connectivity, as well as Nvidia's mobile application processor, Mr. Aevermann said in an interview Monday. He noted the company plans to eventually integrate its Icera cellular chips with its Tegra application processor.
Mr. Aevermann said the LTE and WiFi versions of the Asus tablet, currently dubbed the "Tablet 600," will likely be available at the same time Windows is released. It will be one of the first devices, if not the first, to use Nvidia's 4G chips from its Icera acquisition.
Personally I fail to see why you would need 6GB of graphics memory being tied to one GPU, the regular 3GB already should be aby far sufficient enough. That didn't stop Sapphire to release a 7970 6GB TOXIC.
The card boasts 6GB of the latest GDDR5 memory, a powerful 10-phase power supply known as the Lethal Power.
By default, the HD 7970 6GB TOXIC Edition runs at 1050 MHz and with PowerTune Dynamic Boosts rises to 1100 MHz on the engine with the memory clock at 6000 MHz effective. By pressing the new SAPPHIRE exclusive Lethal Boost Button, the beast is unleashed, boosting the core clock speed to 1100 MHz with PowerTune Dynamic Boost to an industry first of 1200 MHz on the engine while the memory is further overclocked to 6400 MHz effective.

Looks like the guys that hacked the NVIDIA forums posted a dump of the database on pastebin. You can read that here. Not only the forums are compromized, shop.nvidia.com apparantly as well.
The group behind the hack is Apollo project:
But let's put this in perspective, this is only a forum hack. I am actually suprised nVidia decided to even disclose that they'd been hacked quite a few weeks ago.
It did take them a while though. We aren't acting extremely maliciously, we've used this database to target disgusting corporations who deserve to be brought to justice.. and we are getting there, slowly but surely.
I know one day it will all change, but for change to happen.. You have to make the change. I was always raised to believe that the only person anyone can change is themselves, but I think that's absolute bullshit, and you should to. I guess you should consider this a call to arms. We are riding as one now. I don't have any other name, I don't want one, and neither should you. I don't have all the answers, but if you take one thing from me.. Wake the fuck up and start looking at things.
Oh, and nVidia forgot to tell you that shop.nvidia.com has also been compromised. nVidia minimizing the affect that the hack will have on its stock price? SHORT SELL, SHORT SELL.
We wrote about this before, but it seems to be a bit more substanciated right now. As it seems NVIDIA plans to introduce its GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card in the third week of August, which is between August 13th and 19th.
This new card is expected to cost $229, it reportedly has 1152 or 1344 CUDA cores, 192-bit memory bus and 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory. The PCB will be pretty short and the card will require just a single 6-pin power connector.
AMD is lowering prices on their graphics cards, that should kick in today. The Radeon HD 7970, Radeon HD 7950, and Radeon HD 7870 are all getting official price cuts.
The 7970 will be dropping from $479 to $429, the 7950 from $399 to $349, and the 7870 from $349 to $299.

DigiTimes heard from graphics card makers that AMD and NVIDIA are unlikely to jump from TSMC to Samsung. Qualcomm adopted Samsung's 28nm process because TSMC failed to meet its needs, but TSMC reportedly has the upper hand over Samsung in 28nm with yield rate and price.
TSMC has the upper hand over Samsung in 28nm technology, yield rate and price and therefore changing foundry partnership involves high risks, the sources said. In addition, Nvidia is expected to consider Samsung's ARM-based processors in competition with its Tegra 3 processors, the sources indicated.
AMD has cooperated with TSMC for 28nm-based production of its Southern Islands graphics chips and nearly finished tape-out of Sea Islands models for 28nm-based production scheduled to begin by the end of 2012, the sources noted. For APUs, AMD has had TSMC producing low-power models including Brazos 2.0 and Hondo based on 40nm Bulk CMOS process and will adopt TSMC's 28nm Bulk CMOS technology in 2013, the sources said.
Point of View announces today that it is first to market with a 6-pin/8-pin GeForce GTX 680 3D processor board exceeding 1150 MHz.
The POV/TGT GeForce GTX 680
Ouch whata freak of nature ... Earlier last month Gigabyte has been displaying the GeForce GTX 680 SOC, you know the one with the five coolers ? Well, there apparently will be a Gigabyte HD 7970 SOC as well which again comes with five 40mm fans and a triple-slot radiator. Oh and check out he dual 8-pin PEG headers.
