Samsung Electronics has outlined its semiconductor storage roadmap, detailing plans for its next-generation V-NAND and DRAM technologies. In 2026, the company will launch a V-NAND product featuring over 400 stacking layers, which will improve storage capacity and performance. Currently, Samsung's leading NAND and DRAM processes are the 9th generation V-NAND and 1b nm (12 nm-class) DRAM, respectively. The 10th generation V-NAND, known as Bonding Vertical (BV) NAND, represents a change from the current Co-Packaged (CoP) peripheral units.
