Apparently, non white employees used the N-word to describe a black case fans. Multiple former employees of EKWB, a company known for its cooling solutions and custom-built PCs, have come forward with allegations of a racially hostile work environment and unpaid overtime at its U.S. branch in San Antonio, Texas. The allegations surfaced following a report by PCGamesN and subsequent interviews with ex-employees, including Dan Henderson, a former Business Development/Product Manager at EKCS, EKWB's U.S. operation. Founded in 2003 in Slovenia by Edvard Konig, EKWB's U.S. offices were operational until their recent closure last month. The employees claim that the work culture was marred by racial insensitivity, including derogatory comments and jokes aimed at minority staff. Jemari Serraty, a former Regional Sales Manager and the only Black employee in the office, recounted incidents where a coworker made racist comparisons and jokes about him.

The company estimates that WiFi 7 will achieve a penetration rate of approximately 5% within the PC and router market by the end of the year. This introduction is set against a backdrop where major players such as Intel, Qualcomm, and MediaTek have already launched consumer-grade WiFi 7 solutions. Should the RDNA 4 series continue with 18 Gbps, it could potentially be perceived as a step backward, especially considering that some of the current RX 7000-series models use faster 20 Gbps modules.
