You will have noticed that benchmarks of an unpublished processor have surfaced on Twitter, it holds a Geekbench entry named AMD WhiteHavenOC-CP with 32 cores, and that likely is Threadripper 3000 ( "Castle Peak") with 32-cores. The entry indicates a base clock of 3.6 GHz for the 32-cores.

Of course, everybody with a modern motherboard has some sort of Realtek chip on it, whether that is for audio or LAN. Soon they will launch NAND controllers as well, and one in specific already will support PCI-Express Gen 4.0.

Remember that Intel announced a new processor prior to the start of Computex, the Core i9 9900KS processor that will have 5 GHz boost activated on all eight cores? It seems to have surfaced in the 3DMark ORB. 

We don't talk about Linux a lot, as the install base is small and not really the PC Gamers domain, however as it turns out Linux users have had Boot issues with Ryzen 3000. A problem that is now confirmed to be solved with the latest BIOS updates.

It kind of went unnoticed with the latest Radeon driver release from AMD, but Netflix 4K support has been added towards RX 5700 as this driver update brings support for supports Microsoft PlayReady 3.0, and that is the DRM protection suite required for Netflix in 4k.

This week you'll see a number of board partners release their custom Radeon RX 5700 graphics cards. We've already addressed quite a bit of them, and some new ones have surfaced. We now add the EVOKe and Mech versions from MSI.

In what can only be described as an informative article,  AMD uncovered some design features on the RX 5700 series in terms of internal temperatures, they are also saying that any RX 5700 is pushed close to its maximum performance 'so you don't have to tweak it'. 

With NAVI Radeon X 5700 cards out and wth the custom board becoming available soon, there is a bit of a gap to be filled in the mainstream domain. Polaris once again will get a respin and move into the Radeon RX 600 series.
