No-no, you read it right ... the non-Ti version. The new product is more value targeted and sits in NVIDIA's new mainstream line of the GTX 1660 series products. MSI has already factory tweaked the card a notch for you. You get all the good stuff, yet without RTX features and Tensor cores.

Reviews: A GeForce GTX 1660 Threesome - MSI Ventus and Gaming X and Palit StormX

Published by Hilbert Hagedoorn 71

teaser

NVIDIA today launches their mainstream GeForce GTX 1660 that sits at roughly 219 USD. Not to confuse with the Ti model, this iteration of the graphics cards has 1408 shader processors and is tied towards 6GB of GDDR5 memory. The GTX series is different from the RTX series in respect that they do not have Tensor or Raytracing cores. make no mistake though, this is Turing architecture based on the 12nm FF TU116 GPU.

The end result is a product that takes on the Radeon RX 580 and 590, and does that quite well. We have prepared three initial reviews for today, two from MSI and one Mini ITX version from Palit.

Corsair Crystal 680X PC Chassis Review

PC Cases and Modding 235 Published by Hilbert Hagedoorn 9

teaser

Corsair is back with a new Crystal 680X RGB PC chassis, which we review. The Crystal series has been a favorite of ours, spacious, dual chambers and fantastic looks can be achieved with it. In the year 2019, of course, a chassis needs a bit of brain and, as such, Corsair added an RGB Node for you to control the included RGB fans with their proprietary iCUE software suite. By doing so they are offering a chassis designed for ease of use, fantastic cable management, good storage options, and downright terrific looks as the side, top and front panels have been fitted with tempered glass.
