Well, that does look .. special? TP-Link will be releasing a new gaming router, the Archer AX11000. This bad boy has tri-band WIFI, but also is 802.11ax compatible. With Tri-band they combine one 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz bands offering a theoretical throughput of 10.756Mbit/s.

This morning the news broke that AMD's chip fabrication partner Global Foundries is halting the 7, 5 and 3nm nodes for chip fabrication to gain more profitability on 12 and 14nm. While that might work short term, long term we think that could be a terrible decision for GloFo.

You know, sometimes you wake up, start reading some news and just have to say .. huh?? AMD's primary chip supplier GloFo has halted developing its 7nm process. The mass production of 7nm chips in the GlobalFoundries factories should have started at the end of this year. The chip manufacturer will focus on the existing 14nm and 12nm lines.

Over in Asia a series of announcements have been made. MSI will release three models GeForce RTX 2080 series cards. The 2080 and 2080 Ti Trio, but also a GeForce RTX 2080 Ventus. The new Ventus card seems to go on pre-order on August 30, with availability on September 20th.

Activision and Treyarch have released a new trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops 4, dedicated to its PC version. Somewhere in Asia engineering samples of the pending Intel Core i 9000 series processors have surfaced. Someone grabbed a Core i7 9700K somehow and placed it into a Z370 motherboard with the latest BIOS. As it seems, it was overclocked towards 5500 MHz.
