Generation Zero Gameplay Video

You can tell that Gamescom is about to begin with the number of game teasers released. Avalanche Studios has released the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming shooter, Generation Zero. Generation Zero is described as an explosive game of cat and mouse set in a vast open world, that will be powered by the APEX Engine and targets a 2019 release.

Daymare: 1998 - Gameplay Teaser

Invader Studios has released the Gamescom 2018 gameplay teaser trailer for its upcoming third-person survival horror game that is inspired by the classic Resident Evil games, Daymare: 1998. Daymare: 1998 is based on the canceled Resident Evil 2 Reborn project, is built on the Unreal Engine 4, and will have the legendary Director of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and planner on the original 1996 Resident Evil, Kazuhiro Aoyama, as its Producer Associate.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Makeshift Arsenal

Square Enix has released a new small trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, showing Lara’s arsenal. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will forge herself into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will release on September 14th!

Official Battlefield 5 Gamescom 2018 Devastation of Rotterdam Trailer

DICE and Electronic Arts have released the official Gamescom 2018 gameplay trailer for Battlefield 5. In this brand new trailer, we get to see new maps and gameplay. From the shattered streets of Rotterdam to the burning sands of North Africa, Battlefield will never be the same. Battlefield 5 will release on October 19th and will feature a single-player mode, as well as a Battle Royale mode. The game will also feature a more impressive destruction system. As the battle rages on and structures collapse, players won’t see pre-determined animations – but dynamic sequences based on physics, materials, and the hardware being used.

SSDs Could Reach 0.8 cents per GB next year

The land of DRAM and NAND are highly volatile, however, for NAND there's currently a ton of developments as well as overproduction. And that means good news for NAND flash storage if you are a consumer. New reports indicate that by 2019 NAND could hit prices as low as 8 cents per GB, and that brings is at HDD price levels.

The Razer Nommo Pro, a THX certified 2.1 speaker system unveiled at CES is now available for purchase. Features include THX certification, two independent silk dome tweeters mounted atop Dupont Kevlar coated speakers with 3-inch drivers and an independent 7-inch cylindrical downward firing subwoofer.

Intel Launches Graphics Twitter Handle and New Video

Intel posted a new video, promising a dedicated graphics card by 2020. Intel would like to keep you abreast of the latest development of Intel in graphics. At Siggraph, their team is starting a new Twitter handle @IntelGraphics that will have news and content.  “We will set our graphics free” is the first teaser video (and remember, by 2020 you'll see the actual product). I took the liberty of hosting the video on our guru3d youtube account, and yes I can tell by the style, who's behind this video.

We look at the Raijintek Orcus 240 AIO cooler. This new cooler from Raijintek is, on the surface, your fairly typical 240mm AIO liquid cooler. However, it brings a couple of fairly neat tricks to the party, that I will discuss in greater depth in this article.
