DICE and Electronic Arts have announced that the second closed alpha testing for Battlefield 5 will begin on August 14th. According to the teams, the second Closed Alpha is built directly from the first Closed Alpha and it will not contain any changes to the available maps, modes, weapons and vehicles.

We've mentioned a couple of times that Intel is fighting the 10nm fabrication node. Intel used to adopt the so-called "Tick-Tock" model, but currently are looking at a 4th tock. Intel originally planned to enter mass production of its 10nm Cannon Lake processors back in 2016, but has been pushing back the schedule ever since.

SK Hynix To Further Downsize NAND and calls it 4D-NAND

In a presentation, SK Hynix has talked about its next-generation NAND chips. The new NAND will base based on 96 layers (tlc) flash, stacked on top of the circuits, SK Hynix calls that 4d-NAND. With 3D NAND, the supportive circuitry was placed next to the flash chips.

HP posted a web page holding specifications of some of the company's future notebooks, these hold unannounced processors, and that would be the Intel Whiskey Lake generation. The page has been taken offline again, but as with anything posted early on the web, somebody snagged a screenshot.
