7nm chip fabrication? ... 5nm is gearing up for next year already

You know, the signs have been there. At Computex AMD mentioned having working samples of 7nm chips, meaning things are progressing faster than expected. Much like moving 14nm towards 12nm there, however, is more behind the horizon, and TSMC just made it clear, 5nm wafer and chip fabrication will start in mass production at the end of 2019.

Military Operations has released a benchmark tool for its latest game, Military Operations. According to the press release, Military Operations: Benchmark is a performance and stability Benchmark utility that can be used to test your gaming system for compatibility with the upcoming “Military Operations” (MilOps) real-time strategy game and the “Metis Simulation Technology” (Metis engine) it is developed with. This benchmark tool performs a number of tests to measure your system’s capability for running the “Metis engine”. Besides its profiling purpose, MilOps Benchmark is also a fully functional interactive visualization that allows you to roam the globe without limits. Players can interact with units, follow their movements or watch combat up close.

Intel CEO Krzanich Resigns After Relationship With Employee

So yes, you'd think he would have stepped down after the Intel mess with all Vulnerabilities. Then again, it's kind of a vulnerability for the company. CEO Krzanich steps down as chief executive officer after the chipmaker learned he had previously had a "consensual relationship with an employee". Which is a violation of company policy.

As the title states, AMD will be renaming FreeSync 2 towards FreeSync 2 HDR. Admittedly a good move. FreeSync (the original one) and FreeSync 2 often got confused, as what the revision 2 exactly means and does. FreeSync 2 really is LFR and HDR compatibility added to what FreeSync 1 offers.

Capcom has released an official video for Resident Evil 2 Remake, showing 5 minutes of gameplay footage from its E3 2018 build in glorious 4K. As Capcom has already stated, Resident Evil 2 Remake has been completely re-built from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Resident Evil 2 Remake is coming to the PC on January 25th, 2019.
