There is a new breakthrough in microprocessor development, a microprocessor that uses optical connections opposed to electrical wires to transmit data. The electronic-optical microprocessor, developed by MIT, integrates over 70 million transistors and 850 optical components.

Guru3Ds primary file distribution hosted by SuNET in Sweden is closing down. Earlier this year the call was made to halt this platform. All primary EU downloads from Guru3D.com have been distributed from there ever since the year 2003. This week we got the call that SuNET are closing at the end of the year. In the past days we have found a new partner in NLUUG.

With the trend being Sonos the prices on kits like these are artificially inflated upwards through the roof. Wavemaster however figures, 'heck we can do that in terms of audio quality easily...' and at a price that is three times cheaper.
