Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games continues to reveal more details about the multiplayer portion of the game. Now we get a first look at a mode that's inspired by World at War's "War", dubbed "Momentum". The mode is basically Domination, except all the capture points, five in this case, are placed in a straight line. The match is played on the "Retreat" map.

VESA informed the press of a publication on the upcoming DisplayPort 1.3 standard. This new spec doubles signal bandwith towards up to 32.4Gbps. The higher bandwidth is needed for 5K screens with a resolution of up to 5120 x 2880 pixels as well as using not one but two 4K UHD displays.

A few weeks back, a Microsoft research project showed that the company had built a cloud-based gaming service that reduced the lag by a significant margin.
