The monitor is using an TN based LED panel, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 144Hz refresh rate, 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness.

Gigabyte To offer GeForce GTX Titan Black with WindForce Cooler

Some new information shows that Gigabyte will release the GeForce GTX Titan Black however, it will come included with a custom WindForce Cooler as bundles item. The latest revision of the cooler will be used, and that one offers a whopping 600W of cooling power. There is a nag though, you must install the cooler yourself. Easy work really, but removing a fan always comes with a little risk.

Windows 8.1 gets WIMBoot and 16GB devices can have 12GB free space

Microsoft announced that it has introduced a new install option for Windows 8.1 called Windows Image Boot, or WIMBoot, that's been made to allow those kinds of products a way to get a full version of the OS while still having room for the installations of apps and other programs. In a blog post, Microsoft said they dislike the typical way that Windows is installed on a new PC via extracting folders from an image file, WIMBoot keeps all of those files compressed. However, the user of the device sees no difference when they explore their storage in the C: folder.

It is not finally a set date, you guys will see Intel's pending Haswell Cire refresh products in May, the 10th to be precise (11th depending on your timezone). That date the processors will be launched, mostly having a 100 Mhz bump on the clock frequency. more interesting of course will be the new intel H97/Z97 chipset for motherboards.

Okay, so this again is a speculative post, but I just noticed that some information regarding the pending GeForce GTX 880 is spreading like a hot fire on the web. Basically according to a report from Tyden.cz and Expreview the pending GeForce GTX 880 would be based on Nvidia Maxwell NVIDIA's GM204 GPU. The product would get 3200 Shader processors and almost 8 Billion transistors. Apparently this is not even the flagship GPU, but if you have a peek at the specs (which you should take with a grain of salt) then the DirectX 12 compatible GPU would be SSM enabled, streaming multiprocessor Maxwell.

I-O Data is set to drop their latest wireless LAN repeater, the WN-AC1300EX. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WN-AC1300EX supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 1300Mbps). The product comes with a WPS button and provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES) and WEP (64/128bit).

This tech demo of the PC version of Watch Dogs showcases some of the features and effects GeForce owners can expect when the game ships late next month. Launching next month on May 27, Watch Dogs was scheduled for release as a launch title for next-gen consoles way back in 2013. The colleagues over at WccfTech posted something about the next generation Radeon graphics cards. They dug up an old (what is claimed to be) roadmap which shows details about three GPUs, the R9 390X, R9 380X and R9 370X. There is no validation regarding the source material and their post is highly speculative. Then again .. rumors always start somewhere and props to them for retrieving that info.

In this review we test and benchmark the R9 295x2 The R9 295x2 is the new dual-GPU monster of a graphics card from AMD. It has two fully enabled Hawaii XT GPUs and in style an exotic cooling in the form of a Hybrid cooler, meaning a combination of air and liquid cooling. The  two GPU's are fully enabled on all shader processors and run up-to a cool 1018 MHz each. So that's over 12 Billion transistors, 5632 Shader processors and a good 11.5 TFLOPS of compute performance slapped onto a single PCB. HIS receneltly announced their HIS Radeon R9 290X iPower IceQ X2 Turbo Graphics Card. Powered by AMD Radeon R9 290X GPU, the card sports 2816 Stream Processors, a 512-bit memory interface. The card was core clocked at 1040MHz and a 4GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 5400MHz.  It seems that HIs os now offering the product at an increased clock-frequency of 1060 Mhz on the core.
