Two slides from Intel have appeared on the web today, Vr-Zone listed the processor plans for the remainder of the year. The first slide is a generic roadmap that shows what Intel has in store for its major product lines, it reveals the desktop platform will see the Haswell Refresh platform later this quarter while the Haswell-E should follow in Q3 2014.

More details on 15-Core Xeon E7 Ivy Town Processors

Some new details emerged on the Intel 15-core server chip code-named Ivytown. According to information provided, the processor will be based on Intels Haswell Predecessor – Ivybridge and will be called the “Xeon E7 Ivytown”. Intel confirmed that it will release a 15-core server chip code-named Ivytown, which will be based on the Ivy Bridge architecture. It will be called Xeon E7-8800v and is made for business servers.

More on Intel 14nm Broadwell Q4 2014 Delay

Earlier on we already posted that Intel broadwell was delayed to Q4 2014. It seems to be aprtly true as the primary portion of Broadwell is currently on track the ‘Y’ ‘U’ and ‘H’ Variants have been delayed. Broadwell will be the first 14nm products from Intel. It will utilize HT and Turbo Boost 2.0. The instructions supported will be AES, AVX2 and TSX with the x86 instruction set (x86-64). The H processors will have 6mb of L3 Cache and some of the SKUs will have the GT3e graphics with eDRAM.

Microsoft to Kill Windows 7 sales for consumer PCs in October

Interesting news today, as it seems Microsoft will allow OEMs to ship consumer PCs with Windows 7 until October 31, 2014. The cut-off date for business PCs with Windows 7 is yet to be announced though. While Microsoft has always allowed PC makers to continue shipping previous versions of Windows on their hardware for some amount of time after the release of a new Windows version, this policy has come under scrutiny in recent months for two reasons.

A couple of websites have been able to source materials from Nvidia press FTP and posted specs and photo's. The cat is out of the bag alright, the GeForce GTX Titan Black edition is to be released this week. Do not expect any reviews or fuzz though as this is a silent launch. Basically Nvidia will remain focusing on the GeForce GTX 780 Ti for consumer and gamers. The Titan Black edition is targeted at developers that need double precision.

As you guys know AMD has been selling AMD Radeon series memory for a while now, it's just that it is solely available in the USA. This will change soon as in the upcoming weeks AMD will introduce AMD branded memory in the EU. AMD will make use of Dataram memory modules. The first series will be the Radeon R9 Gamer Memory which basically is a reference to the high-end series graphics cards.

Well, that's okay as Respawn's Vince Zampella has just announced via Twitter that Titanfall's beta phase will open up to everyone! Ok, just heard from @jonshiring. His words are 'Let's break it', so the plan is to make the beta fully open and have you max stress it! The TitanFall beta will remain available until 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, February 18.

Intel Haswell refresh might be pushed forwards

Intel has postponed their 14nm Broadwell processors to Q4 2014 however the Haswell Refresh platform will now arrive in April, one month earlier than expected. The Haswell Refresh is expected to feature more than 20 new processors.
