Titanfall on Xbox One Does Not Run in 1080p

Published by Hilbert Hagedoorn 85

Here's a good reason for PC gaming, it is kind of bizarre for such a new console that Titanfall on Xbox One can't run in 1080p. According to Gamespot, Titanfall beta runs natively at 792p on Xbox One: The Xbox One version of Titanfall, at least in its current beta form, does not run in native 1080p. Instead, Respawn Entertainment community manager Abbie Heppe told the Titanfall Blog that it currently runs in 792p, but could be closer to native 900p at launch next month. As the Titanfall Blog points out, Titanfall's 792p resolution is not that outlandish as it may seem. Many games run at non-standard resolutions and then are upscaled to more common benchmarks like 720p or 1080p. In the case of Titanfall, 792p would be upscaled to 1080p on your console.
