A meet with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 reference board

On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at a high resolution and then cropped and scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D 12 MegaPixel.

Alright, let's have a looksy at the new GeForce GTX 275 reference design. NVIDIA always uses a somewhat dark thema surrounding their high-end cards. I like that very much. So the PCB will be black, the cooler will be black.

And then the AIBs glue a bright as possible sticker on there :)

As you can see several changes were made for this product. The biggest one was to make the card affordable. Do not forget, we have a product here that will kiss and tell on the GeForce GTX 285, yet it costs 239 EUR / 249 USD. That's terrific.

The look and feel resembles the GeForce 9800 GTX+ a little bit somehow. It's a good design though, and the cooler is very quiet. I have to admit that I do like the design and look of this cooler. That's just a great looking graphics card aesthetically. Very pleasing with the entire black design. The card is a bit lengthy though at 27cm / 10.6"

Now obviously AIBs will have the opportunity to select connectivity. The reference card however has two DVI connectors. Both are dual-link, meaning you can hook up monitors with very high resolutions (1920x1200 up-to 2560x1600).
